Workweek

Up to 29 hours per week. This position will not exceed 29 hours. Hours will vary Monday through Thursday.

Position Summary

Kids and College Camp Counselors will support campers, instructors, and program staff during the Kids and College Summer 2025 Program. This program offers engaging classes for students in grades K-9, focusing on science, technology, engineering, arts, and manufacturing. Counselors will help create a safe, engaging environment, support classroom instruction, and assist with various tasks.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

1. Assist instructors and campers with classroom setup, instruction, and cleanup.
2. Escort and guide campers to campus locations, including classrooms and restrooms.
3. Create a safe, supportive, positive, and engaging environment.
4. Assist with daily arrival and dismissal procedures.
5. Organize and distribute classroom supplies.
6. Report disciplinary issues, camper concerns, and emergencies to staff.
7. Be a positive role model and mentor.
8. Collaborate with camp staff and instructors.
9. Follow all program and college policies and procedures.
10. Attend mandatory training and complete employment paperwork.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
