Job summary

LIFT Enrichment is seeking an energetic Chef Teacher to lead after-school cooking workshops for Title I students in Livermore or Pittsburg, CA. You will guide K-8th grade groups through hands-on activities, teach healthy recipes, and promote kitchen safety with our curriculum.

No professional chef experience is required; training is provided. This is a seasonal, part-time role with paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a phone stipend.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 15-20 students (K-8th grade) through hands-on cooking activities.
• Teach fun, healthy recipes using our provided curriculum.
• Introduce kids to basic cooking, nutrition, and kitchen safety.
• Keep students engaged, excited, and involved.
• Manage setup, cooking, and cleanup.
• Grocery shop and prep ingredients as needed.
• Transport program supplies to the school.
