Job summary

LIFT Enrichment in San Francisco is seeking seasonal/part-time Chef Teachers to lead healthy cooking workshops in Title I schools. You will teach groups of 15-20 students, transport culinary kits, and deliver hands-on lessons from our curriculum. Prior experience with kids is valued; formal chef credentials are not required.

Hourly pay is 28 USD, with paid training and mileage reimbursement. Availability 2:30 PM–5:30 PM, 2–3 days per week, reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with kids (e.g., summer camp counselor, retired teacher)
• Cooking experience not required to be formal or professional
• Availability 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM, 2-3 days per week
• Must have reliable transportation to and from workshops
• Lead groups of 15-20 students and use culinary kits from curriculum

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 15-20 students inhands-on culinary workshops
• Transport provided culinary kits to sites
• Teach fun recipes from our curriculum (e.g., Black Bean Quesadillas, Crispy Chicken Tenders)
• Attend and participate in seasonal/part-time teaching schedules and training
