Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children from 3 months to 11 years. You will organize, instruct, and implement safe, fun activities and may host parties or events.

Responsibilities include greeting members, supporting development, preparing for classes, and maintaining records. This is an hourly role with benefits for full-time staff and comprehensive life-time memberships.

Qualifications

• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within first 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through organized activities
• Prepare and set up for class and transfer kids to and from programming
• Maintain records of attendance, development, and incidents
• Monitor safety and maintain a healthy environment with toys and equipment
• Use positive behavior management and communicate with parents and team
• Promote Junior programming to boost participation in Kids & Aquatics
• Maintain Kids Academy areas and restock supplies after each class
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally
