Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Coordinator for Transplant - Kidney to support the Transplant Institute with administrative tasks, scheduling, and patient coordination. You will act as the primary contact for patients, donors, staff and referring physicians, ensuring smooth workflows across the transplant process.

Responsibilities include intake, insurance coordination, chart creation, and collaboration with medical assistants to maintain clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of comparable experience or equivalent.
• 10 years of healthcare experience may be used in lieu of education.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree; 5 years in a physician practice; dialysis/transplant center experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties for the Transplant Institute.
• Schedule testing and coordinate patient intake and referrals.
• Serve as primary contact for patients, living donors, staff and referring physicians.
• Prepare and distribute materials for listing meetings.
• Coordinate with EPIC/PHOENIX to track testing and follow up.
