Job summary

CUHK is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate (Kidney Disease) to join the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. The appointee will conduct kidney disease research, work with postgraduate students and staff, and help prepare academic reports, manuscripts and grant proposals.

Appointments are on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement and funding.

Qualifications

• PhD required for Postdoctoral Fellow; Master's with 5+ years post-qualification experience for Research Associate.
• Solid experience in cell biology, animal studies and molecular techniques.
• Experience in single-cell sequencing and advanced bioinformatics would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with postgraduate students and research staff to conduct kidney disease-related research.
• Assist with academic reports, manuscripts and grant proposals at Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin.
