Job summary

West Virginia University in Morgantown is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Urology to advance clinical outcomes research on kidney cancer. The fellow will build patient databases spanning 15 years and contribute to collaborative studies with the Cleveland Clinic.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD, demonstrate strong academic writing, and can mentor others while supporting manuscript preparation; immigration support may be provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building database of patients who have been managed with kidney cancer over the past 15 years to support studies, in addition to benign data.
• Work with colleagues at the Cleveland Clinic for collaborative studies and participate in related academic activities.
• Provide mentorship with research activities and assist with manuscript preparation; immigration support may be provided during employment.
• Participate in Department of Urology conferences and other educational activities.
• Attend meetings related to the research studies and annual meetings of relevant professional societies.
