Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Medical Social Worker to educate patients on treatment choices and wellness to enhance quality of life for those living with kidney disease. You will support psychosocial well-being, conduct assessments, participate in care planning, and help manage services for coping with dialysis challenges.

Prefer candidate with MSW from CSWE-accredited program, LCSW/ACSW licensure preferred in CA, and relevant behavioral or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited CSWE institution.
• Current licensure as MSW/LCSW/ACSW preferred in CA; LMSW acceptable where licensure is available.
• Experience in health or behavioral health settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and coping strategies.
• Coordinate services to support social and emotional well-being during dialysis care.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
