Job summary

The laboratory of Dr. Susan Waltz in the Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow.

The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge experiments under the mentorship of ten preceptors and contribute to mechanistic studies in cancer signaling. Areas of research include signaling pathways in renal cancer, membrane biology and chemotherapy resistance, breast cancer stem cells, and metabolism.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required in the relevant field or discipline.
• Must have the degree by date of hire or prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research experiments within the predefined scope and methodology.
• Gather and analyze data and develop new ideas for current research.
• Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts and presentations.
