Job summary

Kidcam @ Oak Mountain State Park seeks a dynamic Director to lead a seasonal camp. You will supervise staff, engage with campers and families, and uphold our standards while fostering a positive, energetic camp culture.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to anticipate needs, and a focus on developing people and relationships. First Aid & CPR certification is expected, with ACA age requirements met by start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 25 years of age by start date per ACA standards.
• Experience in education, recreation, camp management, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Experience in managing and supervising employees (including young adults).
• First Aid & CPR certified (Basecamp will coordinate before camp start).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Ability to learn and manage the Kidcam Camp Software System (included in pre-camp training).

At the end of the summer, the success of a Kidcam Director isn't just measured by how well camp ran.
