Kidcam Camps @ Rivers Retreat is seeking a dynamic Camp Director who can lead a team, engage with campers and families, and set high standards for camp operations. The role requires a calm, proactive leader who lives the Kidcam Way and can develop staff into strong, caring leaders.

You will oversee program quality, safety, and relationships, ensuring an outstanding summer experience for all participants. Strong interpersonal skills and prior camp/education leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 25 years of age by start date.
• Experience in education, recreation, camp management, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Experience in managing and supervising employees.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Ability to learn and manage the Kidcam Camp Software System.

Kidcam Directors are out there with their team, know their campers and families, bring the energy, set the standard, and make people feel like they're part of something special.You need WITH-IT-NESS—the ability to see what's happening, anticipate what's next, stay calm when things get hard, and know when to step in. At the end of the summer, the success of a Kidcam Director isn't just measured by how well camp ran. Success is measured by the people you developed, the relationships you built, and the experience you created.Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.Per ACA standards, minimum 25 years of age by start date.Experience in education, recreation, camp management, social work, psychology, or other related and applicable field.Experience in managing and supervising employees. This includes young adults (high school, college, etc.).First Aid & CPR Certified (Basecamp will coordinate certification prior to the start of camp as needed).Experience with Microsoft 365 and basic computer skills with applications such as Word, Excel, Email, etc..Ability to learn and manage the Kidcam Camp Software System (this will be included in pre camp training).
