Qualifikationen

• Plan, develop, and implement a developmentally appropriate program in accordance with Kid Connection policies and philosophy.
• Oversee daily schedules, rosters, and accurate counts of children.
• Set a positive work environment and observe program for quality and improvement needs.
• Direct, supervise, schedule, and manage instructors at the site through observation and coaching.
• Guide children’s behavior in a positive, consistent manner.
• Maintain student files and document behavior when appropriate.
• Design and maintain a supportive, safe environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school district staff.
• Supervise and monitor students at all times; supervise indoor and outdoor play.
• Implement emergency procedures including CPR when needed.
• On-site CCAP lead.
• Write, implement, and post weekly lesson plans.
• Must be available to work non-school days and supervise field trips.

Job Summary

Provides quality, age appropriate, school age care programming and curriculum under the direction of the Kid Connection Coordinator.

Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:

• Planning, developing, and implementing a developmentally appropriate program in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the Kid Connection program and guidelines.
• Oversee and maintain daily schedules, rosters, and accurate counts of children.
• Set the tone for a positive work environment, and observe the program in action for: quality, program improvement needs, staff observation.
• Direct, supervise, schedule, and manage instructors at assigned site through observation and coaching.
• Guide children's behavior in a consistent, positive style.
• Maintain student files and document behavior when appropriate.
• Design and maintain a supportive, safe environment.
• Communicate on a regular basis with parents/guardians and school district staff.
• Supervise and monitor students at all times; supervise indoor and outdoor play, participate and intervene as necessary.
• Implement emergency procedures when needed, including performance of CPR.
• On site CCAP lead.
• Write, implement, and post weekly lesson plans.
• Must be available to work non-school days. Non-school day programming includes participation and supervision during off-site field trips for a straight shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Child Care experience required, School Age Care experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate positive interpersonal skills and communicate effectively both orally and in writing via email with parents/guardians and school staff.
• Ability to triangulate communication effectively from from Coordinator and other district staff to on-site staff, families, and stakeholders
• Ability to understand and follow data privacy rules and regulations related to students.
• Ability to anticipate and diffuse problems, as well as disruptive situations.
• Ability to knowledgeably lead a staff team and adequately provide direction and support to individual team members
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Must have a high degree of flexibility.
• Must have the ability and proven record of reporting to work on a regular and punctual basis.
• Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the matter of district business, and demonstrate teamwork in daily activities.
• Is prompt and thorough in completing assignments, and attending to details accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to use Google and learn computer software.
