Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel - 1170 InterQuest Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80921 is hiring a hospitality team member. The starting pay is $18.26 per hour with a range up to $27.60, plus quarterly bonuses and a strong benefits package.

You’ll help create memorable guest experiences, support food and service standards, and enjoy flexible scheduling, hotel discounts, paid time off, and career growth through mentorship and internal promotions at Drury Hotels.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly guest service and maintaining professional conduct.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Willingness to learn hotel protocols and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Support guest experiences and assist team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback or similar guest events with proper food prep and cleanup.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and lobby areas and ensure stocked supplies.
• Adhere to food safety standards and promote Drury hospitality standards.
• Interact with guests politely, answer questions, and provide local information.

What you will do:

• Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback "happy hour" ... well, happy for our guests.
• Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and with clean-up.
• See to it that the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
• Ensure that food safety standards are met and that supplies are fully stocked at appropriate levels.
• Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers.
• Answer guest’s questions using your knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude.

• Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels

• Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English
