Bob Bell Kia in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Technician with Kia or Hyundai experience. This role pays flat rate and can earn $75,000-$125,000+ annually, with a sign-on bonus up to $6,000 for certified technicians.

The dealership emphasizes a modern, air-conditioned shop and ongoing training. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of technician experience, Kia certification a plus, and holds a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience required.
• Kia Certified a plus.
• B level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team oriented mindset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and estimated repair times.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
