Job summary

SONS KIA in McDonough, GA is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our growing service department. We value experience in service roles and a commitment to addressing customer needs while maintaining a loyal client base.

Responsibilities include performing repair orders, conducting test drives, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, and collaborating with Service Advisors to estimate repair times.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Novice technicians welcome – comprehensive training provided.
• Solid automotive background.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and background check.
• Must possess a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform tasks specified on repair orders in line with dealership standards.
• Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Collaborate closely with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional service needs and provide estimated repair times.
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
