Gossett Motor Cars is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians in West Tennessee to inspect, diagnose and repair customer vehicles. The role covers engines, transmissions, drivability, cooling, brakes, electronics, steering, suspension and HVAC, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Factory certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles as per repair orders.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Maintains and repairs engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Communicates with Service Advisor to inform customers of needed services and estimates time for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
