Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, International Affairs, or related field.
• Ten+ years in journalism with at least four years in senior editorial leadership.
• Experience managing journalists across locations and time zones.
• Near-native Khmer with strong English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Khmer Desk's editorial vision, priorities, and long-term strategy.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and impactful journalism across web, radio, video, and social platforms.
• Approve major enterprise stories and sensitive editorial content before publication.
• Build and maintain sources within Khmer-speaking communities.
