Candidates should have a construction background with familiarity in electrical work, structural steel, and blueprint reading.

Job Purpose

Construction Foremen are key to our success, representing the company while coordinating workers, subcontractors, material deliveries, and on-site activities. They lead small teams on projects such as equipment installation and OR renovations, requiring effective planning, communication, and execution. Foremen also serve as the face of KHI to clients, managing administrative tasks and fostering trust for repeat business.

Foremen must be construction experts, capable of leading diverse teams including medical equipment technicians and network specialists. They should promote quality, accountability, teamwork, and achievement. Essential qualities include:

• Industry experience and knowledge
• Blueprint and drawing literacy
• Understanding building codes (electrical, fire suppression, medical gas, etc.)
• Pre-job planning for efficiency
• Clear communication with team and clients
• Managing change according to priorities
• Providing client updates
• Continuous improvement through debriefs

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma required; college degree preferred.

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years leadership experience desired
• Willingness to travel extensively (80%+)
• Hands-on with installation work
• Familiarity with hand/power tools
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, low-voltage systems
• Ability to read plans and scope of work
• Assess scope changes and request change orders
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends nationwide
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces, crouched, or kneeling positions, lift 70 lbs

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Google Drive, Calendar, Word, Excel, Email, Internet.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $60,000–$85,000 based on experience
