We are seeking a construction foreman capable of managing teams and working collaboratively. Candidates should have a background in construction, with familiarity in electrical work, structural steelwork, and blueprint reading.

Job Purpose

KHI Construction Foremen are vital to our success, representing the company while coordinating workers, subcontractors, material deliveries, and on-site activities to ensure projects stay on schedule. They lead small teams on tasks such as equipment installation and operating room renovations, requiring effective planning, communication, execution, and debriefing. Foremen also serve as the company's face to clients, handling administrative tasks and fostering trust to encourage repeat business.

• Expertise in construction, capable of leading medical equipment technicians, network specialists, and subcontractors.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Understanding of building codes related to electrical, fire suppression, and medical gases.

• Clear communication of plans with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage change according to project priorities such as client needs, efficiency, and safety.
• Providing regular updates to clients via in-person, email, and online communication.

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma or college degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• At least three years of leadership experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide up to 80% or more.
• Experience working alongside teams installing equipment.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read plans, interpret instructions, and follow scope of work.
• Skill in assessing scope changes and requesting change orders.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
• Physical ability to work in crouched or kneeling positions and confined spaces, and lift up to 70 pounds.

Computer Skills

• Proficiency with Google Drive, Google Calendar, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet.

Compensation

• Salary range of $70,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience.
