Bucks County Community College seeks a dedicated part-time KEYS Student Facilitator to support disadvantaged students through enrollment and benefits assistance. This role involves case management, collaboration with community resources, and a commitment to fostering student success. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree and experience in human/social services.

The part-time KEYS Student facilitators will provide services and support necessary to assist students in completing educational activities. The services are designed to help students connected to the community college with the intent of graduating with a career-specific credit or non-credit bearing certificate or associate’s degree.
The KEYS TANF/SNAP Student Facilitator will:
Contact the students and assist them in the enrollment process and review the participation requirements.
Enroll the student in the KEYS program by both accepting the referral in CWDS and conducting face-to-face/remote interviews within seven calendar days of the referral date.
Obtain the students' written consent to share grade transcripts, schedules, financial aid awards with the County Assistance Office.
Provide data determined by the Department of Human Services that will be used to evaluate student and process outcomes.
Assist students with renewal and or applying for benefits.
Assist students with renewal and/or applying for financial aid.
Weekly case management show casing tutoring, learning resources, career services, counseling, accessibility services and enrollment management.
Upload and update students' KEYS Service Plans with emphasis on career-specific high priority occupations.
Essential Functions
Weekly case management of all KEYS Program participants' Work Participation Rate using CWDS.
Manage KEYS Program case folders including AMRs, EDPs, IEPs, signed consent forms, and weekly attendance.
Assist students with renewal of SNAP/TANF benefits and financial aid.
Weekly upload student case notes to CWDS via ongoing and scheduled contact with students.
Weekly address student goals and barriers and refer students for appropriate interventions, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, social work, human services or related field required. Any and all degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
Two (2) years of experience working with a disadvantaged population required.
Demonstrated knowledge of community resources for meeting the needs of disadvantaged clients and knowledge of current TANF regulations required.
Expertise in human/social services, case management and workshop facilitation required.
Ability to effectively present information and speak in public settings required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and written communication skills required.
Ability to work effectively with a team and collaborate with others across departments and disciplines required.
Demonstrated computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required.
Ability to work evenings and Saturdays, as needed, is required.
Ability to maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment inclusive of students, faculty and staff of varying social economic, cultural, ideological and ethnic backgrounds required.
Commitment to student success and student-centered coaching and mentoring.
Ability to travel within the county and state-wide.
Ability to complete CWDS and any other required KEYS trainings.
Hourly Range
Hourly Range: $19.1929 - $20.54 (commensurate with experience)
