Job summary

Baptist Health Orthopedic Care in Key West is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing regional practice. You will provide comprehensive orthopedic care to a diverse patient population and enjoy a housing stipend for this opportunity.

The role involves managing a broad range of cases, participating in ED orthopedic call coverage, and building long-term relationships with the community through outreach clinics and health initiatives. Fellowship training preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed 5-year orthopedic surgery residency; fellowship preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosis and surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage a broad range of orthopedic cases.
• Participate in emergency department Orthopedic call coverage.
• Have strong fracture-management skills.
• Willing to build long-term relationships within the community.
• Participate in outreach clinics and community health initiatives.
• Strong patient satisfaction and communication skills.

Education

Medical degree (MD or DO)

5-year accredited orthopedic surgery residency

Fellowship training preferred

Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery

Eligible for unrestricted Florida Medical License
