Caviar & Bananas in Charleston, SC is seeking a friendly Key Hourly Manager to join our energetic team. This full-time role requires open availability and focuses on delivering exceptional coffee, breakfast, pastries, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee barista training, run shifts, manage cash handling, and ensure a welcoming cafe experience while maintaining high quality and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista and food industry roles with customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service; ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all barista training and maintain consistency in daily operations.
• Run shifts alongside salary management properly and efficiently.
• Management of cash drawers and deposits.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, breakfast dishes and pastries.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle payments using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with catering or special event preparations as needed.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
