Job summary

Morning Lavender Café in Tustin, CA is seeking a warm, service-driven Barista to join our café team. This part-time role (minimum 25 hours/week) offers $16.90 per hour plus tips, with a cadence that rewards hospitality, speed, and accuracy.

You will learn our drink menu, handle the register, craft beverages, and maintain a clean, welcoming workspace. Availability 4 days/week, including weekends, and a Food Handler's Card are required or obtainable before starting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness
• Operate the register, take orders, and recommend drinks confidently
• Learn and memorise our drink menu, ingredients, and preparation steps
• Efficiently craft multiple beverages at once while maintaining quality
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace throughout your shift

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for 6+ hours at a time
• Able to lift and move items up to 20 pounds

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be available at least 4 days per week
• Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Availability as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 7:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday availability is mandatory
• Availability requirement does not guarantee your actual weekly schedule
• Valid Food Handler's Card required (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
• Barista experience preferred but not required. We will train the right person.
