Job summary

La Ligne in New York is seeking a motivated retail associate to develop strong client relationships and drive in-store sales. You will open and close the store, manage inventory needs, and support events while maintaining an organized, visually appealing storefront.

Candidates should have 2+ years retail experience with a keen sense of style and a positive, customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment. Commission-based earnings are included in addition to hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Existing client base.
• 2+ years retail experience.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong aesthetic sensibilities and sense of style.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain strong client relationships through customer engagement and clienteling.
• Open and close store including all related duties.
• Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• Help facilitate in-store events.
• Team sell to achieve monthly store goals.
• Increase in store sales by cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
• Maintain a clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing storefront.
• Ensure presentation of all displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visual direction.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
