Job summary

XL Parts/The Parts House, a Marubeni Group company, seeks an Assistant Store Supervisor in Winder, GA. You will oversee daily shipping/receiving, support order assembly for fast deliveries, and supervise front desk operations while ensuring excellent customer service and safety standards.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, scheduling drivers, cash handling, and maintaining a clean store and warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Strong customer-service mindset and reliability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive merchandise and manage part shipments.
• Assemble and fill customer orders for 45-minute delivery windows.
• Conduct inventory and cycle counts.
• Schedule contract drivers as needed.
• Answer customer questions and address complaints.
• Handle store opening/closing duties and finances.
• Maintain clean, safe store and front counter area.

Job description

The Assistant Store Supervisor is responsible for expediting shipments of parts sent and returned from or to XL Parts/The Parts House distribution center(s).

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Shipping and receiving of merchandise
• Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45minute window
• Inventory and cycle counts
• Schedules contract drivers based on company business needs
• Answers customer questions and addresses complaints
• Store opening and closing duties
• Handles cash, cash counts, and deposits
• Stocks and pulls parts
• Answers phones
• Keeps store and front counter clean
• Keeps warehouse clean and provides a safe work environment

Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED
• 1 to 2 years ofworking in a retail environment
• Highly motivated to provide superb customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
