Job summary

IT’SUGAR is seeking a Retail Keyholder to deliver a sweet customer experience and promote our brand. You will assist on the sales floor, operate the POS, and help open or close the store while maintaining merchandising standards.

Ideal candidates bring 6 months of retail experience, a HS diploma, and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays. You will contribute to a vibrant, fast-paced environment with a focus on service and sales.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months in a similar retail role preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to use a POS/cash register and handle cash accurately.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage customers per brand standards.
• Assist in sales and merchandising on the floor and at the register.
• Support store operations including opening/closing procedures and backroom duties.

Position Summary

IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Keyholder to join our team. The keyholder is responsible for delivering a sweet customer experience while promoting our brand. Responsibilities include sales floor merchandising and maintenance, product knowledge, register duties, and opening or closing the store.

Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

• Assist customers with requests and inquiries.
• Follow our customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT.
• Ensure sales floor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.
• Operate POS/register to properly cash out all customers.

Achieve Sales Goals

• Follow through on customer requests for specific items and suggest additional products.
• Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.

Support Store Operations

• Maintain store cash handling records.
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
• Assist in set-up for special events and promotions.
• Understand all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with Store Manager.
• Operational responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales floor backroom restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Years of Experience: 6 months in a similar retail role preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to work alone or with the minimum amount of supervision.
