Job summary

Jewelers Mutual Group in Wisconsin seeks a seasoned Key Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison with partners, developing personalized strategies to drive revenue and navigate contractual requirements.

You will nurture trust-based relationships with executive contacts, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to meet organizational goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and high partner satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of client or account management experience.
  • willingness and ability to travel up to 15% for industry events and field work.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite is required.

  • Develop, coordinate and execute complex strategies to achieve revenue targets with high-value strategic partners.
  • Cultivate trust-based relationships with partner contacts, review performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.

  • Lead, troubleshoot, and resolve partner issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Summary

This role serves as the primary relationship liaison between Jewelers Mutual and our partners. The Key Account Manager is responsible for strategizing personalized approaches to drive results across key performance indicators tied to organizational business plans while balancing incoming requests. Critical functions within this role include onboarding new partners efficiently while complying with all contractual agreements, cultivating strong relationships to drive new business growth, training best practices at all levels of partner organizations to ensure regulatory compliance and improve sales. This position works closely with P&L leadership, Business Development, and Operations to appropriately steer performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, coordinate and execute complex, multi‑faced strategies to achieve revenue targets within assigned high‑value strategic partners.
  • Cultivate strong, trust‑based relationships with various partner contacts including executives, routinely reviewing partner performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement and expansion, while complying with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and partner contract terms.
  • Prepare and conduct business reviews and strategic planning sessions to align partner objectives with our organizational goals, ensuring partners are equipped to deliver on key performance indicators.
  • Understand each client’s business goals, challenges, and drivers to provide strategic advice, agent training and tailored engagement solutions that drive joint business growth.
  • Serve as the partner’s program support resource, leading, troubleshooting, and resolving partner issues with urgency.
  • Support a smooth transition from business development to the account management phase of the partnership by onboarding and training new partners on systems, processes, products and sales techniques across multiple mediums and audiences.
  • Utilize Salesforce and artificial intelligence tools according to organizational direction to build strong, effective, and accountable partner engagement tracking.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and any technical requirements cross‑functionally with internal and external parties.
  • Support training and onboarding of new account managers in coordination with their leader.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) with internal and external parties.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of client or account management experience
  • Ability to travel independently for industry events, partner sales conferences, or other field work required up to 15%.
  • Must have experience with the MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
