Job description

Key Account Manager – Data Centers (Mission Critical Power)
SwitchgearUS LLC | National role | Home‑based with travel

If you sell into data centers or mission‑critical power, you already know this market is exploding — and that power equipment availability, speed, and execution decide who wins.

SwitchgearUS is expanding its data center business and is looking for a Key Account Manager to own and grow strategic relationships across the mission‑critical ecosystem. This is not a high‑volume BDM role. It’s a relationship‑driven, deal‑owning position for someone who thrives on complex pursuits, executive‑level customers, and closing meaningful infrastructure projects.

Company Overview

SwitchgearUS LLC is a strategic sourcing supplier of electrical power equipment serving the mission‑critical, commercial, industrial, renewable, and utility markets nationwide. We are also a WBENC‑certified Women‑Owned Business (WBE), supporting customer diversity objectives.

SwitchgearUS is a wholly owned subsidiary of HiReli LLC which has been serving the electric power industry for over 25 years. While HiReli operates as a commissioned manufacturers’ representative in an exclusive Northeast territory, SwitchgearUS is a national reseller/distributor — especially relevant for data center opportunities that can be anywhere in the U.S.

A portfolio designed to support mission‑critical power builds which includes low‑and medium‑voltage switchgear, switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers (power, distribution, dry‑type, and instrument), cables and cable accessories, protection relays, and engineering services. Our reputation has been built on technical excellence, speed to market, and customer focus, enabling us to meet the accelerating demands of the data center sector. SwitchgearUS operates an ISO 9001:2015‑compliant Quality Management System and is known for its “Customer Love” philosophy.
