Job summary

Uniphar in Garner, NC is seeking a focused Key Account Manager to nurture customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and ensure timely quotations, sourcing, and support. You will be the primary contact for assigned accounts, collaborating with Procurement, Regulatory, Quality, Logistics, and Business Development to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Travel up to 20% is required. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years in sales or account

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Source products from approved suppliers and evaluate pricing, availability, lead times.

  • Respond to inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

The role acts as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts while collaborating with Procurement, Regulatory, Quality, Logistics, and Business Development teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. **Key Responsibilities**· Manage and develop relationships with assigned customer accounts to support retention and growth.· Prepare accurate and competitive quotations in response to customer inquiries.· Source products from approved suppliers and evaluate pricing, availability, lead times, and supply continuity.· Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best commercial outcome while maintaining compliance with company procedures.· Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.· Maintain customer and supplier data within company systems and ensure records remain current.· Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to obtain documentation required for import, export, and customer compliance requirements.· Partner with Business Development to ensure a seamless transition of new customers into active accounts.· Work cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, Quality, and Finance to ensure successful order fulfilment.· Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for increased sales, margin improvement, and customer engagement.· Process or acknowledge customer inquiries within 24 hours.· Undertake additional duties as assigned by management. Travel: Up to 20% **Qualifications & Experience**· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification required.· Minimum two years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, procurement, or a related commercial role.· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/ERP systems a plus.· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
