The Key Account Alliance Manager Pharma Partnerships for Leica Biosystems will manage, and nurture established key accounts within the biopharmaceutical sector, specifically focusing on Companion Diagnostics (CDx), Computational Pathology and AI enabled assays. To provide tailored CDx solutions to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions support their drug development and commercialization efforts.
This position is part of the Biopharma Partnerships team and will be a remote position. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will report to the Senior Director, Pharma Partnerships and be responsible for building strong relationships with existing pharmaceutical clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored CDx and Computational Pathology solutions to support their drug development and commercialization efforts.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key biopharma clients, leverage our tech driver position and strategy around Computational Pathology and AI with key accounts. Navigate matrixed organizations to identify decision-makers and engage internal team members to secure stakeholder buy-in across the client organization.
Identify client needs and provide tailored account-based solution delivery to support their needs and objectives during drug development, and commercialization efforts whilst also ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditionsof the contractual obligations.
Understand client needs through consultative key account development activities, forge long-term loyalty beyond transactions, and strengthen relationships to meet revenue goals, through upselling and cross selling within key accounts, to contribute to the overall growth of the company.
The essential requirements of the job include
3 or more years experience within biopharma, companion diagnostics and digital pathology industries.
Proven track record in account management to support key customer cultivation.
Proven ability to drive deal closure and achieve business targets using a problem-solving approach to achieve mutual business goals engage with existing pharmaceutical clients to build strong relationships
Excellent cross-functional leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel – up to 40% travel expectations including international
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience:
Forecasting and tracking key account metrics to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities. Deal with requests and escalate issues as needed.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities and ability to gather customer feedback to understand their needs and identify new business opportunities with key accounts
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams through networking.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
