Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• One year experience working with kettle fund raising preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to develop and maintain volunteer and financial databases.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coordinate, and monitor staff and volunteer bell ringers.
• Interview, recruit, screen and select bell ringing staff and volunteers.
• Plan, schedule, assign work, and ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Maintain contact with staff/volunteers and address questions or problems.
• Prepare records and reports for kettle income and hours worked.
• Coordinate special events and recognition activities.
• Meet with community leaders to discuss Salvation Army needs.
• Drive Salvation Army vehicles to kettle locations and collect kettles.
