Salvation Army A Georgia Corp is seeking a dedicated coordinator to recruit and supervise bell ringers, manage schedules, and ensure accurate kettle income records. The role involves frequent contact with staff and volunteers and collaboration with community leaders.

You will drive Salvation Army vehicles to kettle locations, assist with collecting funds, and help plan special events and recognition activities. A valid driver’s license and customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; one year experience with kettle fundraising preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsabilités

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selection of bell ringing staff and volunteers.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work of staff and volunteers; instructs in proper methods and procedures; checks and approves work in progress and upon completion to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains contact with staff and volunteers; answers questions or problems; recognizes workers through correspondence.
• Prepares and maintains records and databases for kettle income information; prepares reports on kettle status; provides staff with hours worked.
• Plans and coordinates special events; prepares plaques and certificates of recognition; maintains event records for future reference.
• Meets with community leaders to discuss Salvation Army needs; drives Salvation Army vehicle to kettle locations and assists with funds deposition.
