Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Kettle Driver for the Red Kettle Campaign. You will drive an insured Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers and equipment during November and December, ensuring safety and procedure compliance.

You will coordinate with the Kettle Coordinator, secure kettles and gear at sites, document times, and help supervise volunteers and paid workers. The role requires physical activity and strong attention to safety and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard
• Background checks will be conducted and reviewed

Responsibilities

• Drive insured Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers and equipment
• Drip off and pick up bell ringers in a predetermined area and secure kettles
• Document time and ensure accuracy of forms related to bellringing
• Deliver kettles and equipment to designated sites and assist volunteers and paid workers
• Coordinate with Kettle Coordinator to ensure data accuracy for workers and sites
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs to staff
• Secure daily funds and assist in end-of-season inventory
