Job summary

Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of employees and volunteer bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same; drives Salvation Army vehicle to drive kettle workers to and from locations and/or pick up kettles.Key Responsibilities:Interviews, recruits, screens and selection of bell ringing staff and volunteers ensuring all sites are covered effectively.Plans, schedules, and assigns work of staff and volunteers; instructs in proper methods and procedures; checks and approves work in progress and upon completion to ensure accuracy and completeness as well as compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.Prepares and maintains up-to-date records and databases for daily kettle income information; prepares reports regarding the status of the kettle program; provides staff and volunteers with documentation of the hours worked.Meets with community leaders and organizations and discuss Salvation Army needs.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work is performed in and out of the office and in a wide variety of weather conditions.
