Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to run the Red Kettle Campaign. You will recruit volunteer bell ringers, schedule ringing times, and contact local businesses for sponsorships, while ensuring accurate cash handling and reporting.

Responsibilities include promoting kettle activities, maintaining equipment, and processing daily funds in collaboration with the Field Rep. Start Date: 10/12/26; End Date: 12/31/26.

Qualifications

• The requirements list includes a valid driver's license with TSA insurance approval.
• Experience in customer service or sales is expected.
• Education: N/A

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteers and groups for bell ringing and schedule dates, times and locations.
• Contact volunteers by phone or email to set ringing times.
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship.
• Sort kettle money with volunteers following guidelines.
• Transfer collected money to the bank for processing per guidelines.
• Enter daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and local SA tracker.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Maintain kettle equipment; keep clean and inspect for damage.
• Send thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations.
• Make copies of checks and route to Field Rep.
