Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to support the Red Kettle Campaign in our community. You will recruit volunteer bell ringers, schedule ringing times, and coordinate kettle sponsorship with local businesses, helping to raise funds for families in need.

Your role involves handling donations with volunteers, entering daily funds into trackers, and maintaining kettle equipment. We foster an inclusive team dedicated to Do the Most Good.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales
• Valid driver’s license with approval to drive from TSA’s insurance carrier

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups and set dates, times and locations
• Contact volunteers by phone or email to schedule ringing times
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
• Sort kettle money with volunteers per guidelines
• Transfer money to bank for processing per guidelines
• Enter daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and SA tracker
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community
• Maintain kettle equipment and keep it clean
• Send thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations
• Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and give to Field Rep
