Job summary

ASPEN ALCOVE OF BARSTOWN in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to administer medications in the memory care unit and support residents with compassionate, safety‑focused care.

The role requires CPR certification, teamwork, and the ability to handle medications and vital signs, with on-site schedule and opportunities for on-demand pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in memory care or similar setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk as needed.

We are looking for a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to assist in administering medications and support our residents in the memory care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
• Take amazing care of our residents

Work Experience:

• CPR certification
• Previous experience in memory care or a similar setting preferred
• Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach and sit for long periods
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
