Job summary

Community Veterinary Partners is seeking a Kennel Assistant to care for boarders and hospitalized pets, ensuring their comfort and safety. You will help with feeding, cleaning kennels, walking dogs, and supporting the medical team as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets.
  • Clean kennels, runs, litter boxes, and common areas.
  • Walk dogs and provide enrichment.
  • Monitor pets for changes in behavior or health.
  • Assist with restraint and basic husbandry tasks (if trained).
  • Maintain laundry, dishes, and supply restocking.
  • Ensure pets go home clean, dry, and happy.

About the Role

As a Kennel Assistant, you will help provide excellent care for pets staying in our hospital. This includes feeding, cleaning, walking dogs, monitoring pets for changes, and ensuring every pet is comfortable and safe. You will also help maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital and support the medical team when needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets

  • Assist with restraint and basic husbandry tasks (if trained)

What We’re Looking For
