Kennel Technician

Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

Responsibilities
  • Provides daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising.
  • Cleans and sanitizes kennels, cages, and work areas to maintain a healthy environment.
  • Monitors the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor or veterinarian.
  • Prepares animals for surgery by shaving, cleaning, and disinfecting surgical sites.
  • Monitors anesthesia, vital signs, and patient status during surgery.
  • Provides post‑operative care, including monitoring recovery, managing pain, and dressing wounds.
  • Sanitizes and packs surgical equipment.
  • Ask for help and offer help to others.
  • Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.
  • Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive approach at all times, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect.
