Kennel Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provides daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising.
- Cleans and sanitizes kennels, cages, and work areas to maintain a healthy environment.
- Monitors the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor or veterinarian.
- Prepares animals for surgery by shaving, cleaning, and disinfecting surgical sites.
- Monitors anesthesia, vital signs, and patient status during surgery.
- Provides post‑operative care, including monitoring recovery, managing pain, and dressing wounds.
- Sanitizes and packs surgical equipment.
- Ask for help and offer help to others.
- Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.
- Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself.
- Maintain a positive, supportive approach at all times, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect.
