Job summary

FMA Animal Hospital in Westwood, KS, is seeking a Kennel Technician to join our growing team. You will care for boarding dogs and cats, provide meals and walks, monitor health and behavior, and document observations, while keeping kennels and treatment areas sanitized and stocked.

This full-time position offers flexible scheduling, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, EAP, 401(k) match, and paid

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred
• Related animal care experience (boarding/doggy daycare, FFA or 4H) considered
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently
• Punctual and reliable
• Desire for knowledge & growth in the veterinary field
• Willing to work holidays and weekends

We're preparing to move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital this year, creating an incredible opportunity for team members to grow their careers in a modern, innovative environment built with both patients and employees in mind. We are seeking aKennel Technicianto join our team!

In this role, you will focus on patient husbandry and care as well as general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital. You will provide meals and walks to boarding patients, administer medication, and monitor for any medical or behavioral concerns while providing detailed documentation about your observations. You will ensure kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies.

This is a full-time position, with flexible scheduling options, and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.

Pay Range

$14 - $17 USD
