Wage: Negotiable, $15-17/hour with annual reviews and raises. Tips add $1-4/hour.

Requirements and Job Description:

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, staying on your feet for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, walking dogs of all sizes, and handling cats and bunnies. It also requires cleaning bodily fluids such as urine, feces, blood, and vomit. Punctuality and attendance are essential.

This labor-intensive, loud job is performed indoors and outdoors regardless of weather. It's ideal for those starting a career in animal care or planning to attend pre-vet school. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Essential Job Functions:

• Preparing pet meals and reading feeding reports
• Feeding pets and managing sibling separation as needed
• Preparing and administering medications in various forms
• Handling and walking dogs of all sizes
• Carrying cats and supervising group playtimes
• Cleaning kennels and yards, washing pet supplies
• Loading and folding laundry
• Preparing kennels for arrivals and departures
• Reading service reports and completing add-on services
• Grooming dogs: bathing, drying, brushing, trimming nails, cleaning ears
• Caring for pets with mobility and medical issues, monitoring for emergencies
