NVA Pet Resorts in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a Part-Time Kennel Technician (Pet Pro) to care for dogs and cats in daycare and boarding. You’ll be hands-on, keep spaces clean, monitor health and behavior, and provide safe, loving care for our guests. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; you may lift up to 60 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Engage pets in enrichment activities and communicate with leadership.
• Assist with laundry and general facility upkeep.

We’re looking for a Part-Time Kennel Technician (internally called a Pet Pro) to join our team and care for our furry guests at their home away from home.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Pro, you’ll be hands-on in both daycare and boarding, providing safe, loving care while keeping our resort clean and welcoming.

Your day may include:

• Walking dogs and supervising playgroups
• Feeding pets and administering medications
• Cleaning and sanitizing pet rooms and common areas
• Monitoring pet health, behavior, and interactions
• Documenting care notes and communicating with leadership
• Engaging pets in enrichment activities like fetch, walks, and basic obedience games
• Comforting shy guests and managing high-energy groups
• Laundry and general facility upkeep
• And yes — you’ll scoop poop, clean messes, o home with fur on your clothes, and probably get plenty of sloppy kisses.

You must be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
• Handle large and small dogs confidently
• Work weekends and holidays
• Be comfortable around pet messes and cleaning products

Work Schedule

• Part-Time
