Airway Animal Clinic in Centerville, OH is seeking a compassionate Kennel Technician & Pet Bather to join our team. This full-time role involves daily pet care, bathing, cleaning, and assisting veterinarians and groomers to keep pets healthy and comfortable.

You'll work a Monday–Wednesday schedule with rotating weekend shifts. Prior animal-care experience is helpful, and we provide training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

• Previous experience in animal care, boarding, daycare, veterinary medicine, or grooming is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets
• Walk, feed, medicate as directed, and monitor dogs and cats
• Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, cages, and common areas
• Bathe dogs and assist groomers by preparing pets for grooming appointments
• Brush coats, clean ears, and support overall coat health
• Trim nails when trained and approved to do so
• Safely restrain pets using low-stress handling techniques
• Monitor pets for signs of illness or discomfort and communicate concerns to the veterinary team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility
• Support hospital cleanliness and patient comfort throughout the day

Status: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. with rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
