Job summary

Hounds Town Atlanta - Smyrna is seeking a passionate Kennel Attendant to join our dog-loving team. You will supervise group play, maintain clean kennels, feed and care for dogs, and assist with check-ins and check-outs while following owner instructions.

Ideal candidates have genuine love for animals, the ability to stay active during shifts, and reliable weekend availability. You will communicate with pet owners and ensure a safe, joyful stay for every dog.

Qualifications

• Love and enthusiasm for dogs of all breeds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and be active for long shifts.
• Previous animal-care work is a plus.
• Strong attention to following safety protocols.
• Reliable with weekend and holiday availability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

• Supervise and monitor dogs during group play sessions to ensure safety and positive interactions.
• Clean and sanitize kennel areas, play yards, and common spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Feed, water, and provide basic care for dogs in accordance with owner instructions.
• Assist with dog check-in and check-out procedures, verifying vaccination records and owner information.
• Identify and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns to management.
• Provide attentive, compassionate care to all dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding their dog's stay and daily activities.

• Comfortable handling large, energetic, or multiple dogs simultaneously
