Job summary

Hounds Town Atlanta Smyrna is seeking a dependable Kennel Attendant to care for dogs in daycare, boarding, and grooming. You will supervise playgroups, feed and medicate as directed, and keep kennels and spaces clean and safe.

The role emphasizes reliable, energetic individuals who communicate well with pet parents and work well in a team. Weekend and shift flexibility is important for our busy schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with dogs preferred but not required.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs during daycare playgroups and monitor behavior to ensure safe interactions.
• Feed, water, medicate (as directed), and care for boarding dogs.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, feeding areas, and common spaces throughout the day.
• Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or stress and report concerns immediately.
• Safely separate dogs when necessary and follow playgroup protocols.
• Assist with check-in and check-out of daycare and boarding guests.
• Maintain accurate feeding, medication, and behavior records.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with pet parents.
• Assist with laundry, dishes, waste disposal, and other housekeeping duties.
• Follow all company safety procedures and animal handling policies.
• Support team members and help ensure smooth daily operations.

Hounds Town Atlanta Smyrna is seeking a dependable, energetic, and dog-loving Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision for dogs in our daycare, boarding, and grooming facility while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically active, and passionate about animal care and customer service.

Schedule

• Part-time positions available.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts may be required.
