Thrive Pet Healthcare’s Preston Animal Hospital in Morrisville, NC is seeking a friendly Kennel Assistant to greet clients, care for dogs and cats, and support our hospital team.

You’ll help with walking, feeding, bathing, nails, monitoring daily habits, and keeping the hotel and hospital clean. Weekend and holiday availability preferred but not required.

Open to applicants with or without prior kennel experience; we value positive attitudes, teamwork, and compassionate care.

Saturdays 8am - 1pm, and 4pm - 6pmAND

Sundays 8am - 10am and 4pm - 6pm. Most but not every weekend required. There may be some days during the week available

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.

Your Experience & Skills

Previous Kennel experience a plus but not required.

About The Hospital

Preston Animal Hospital is a small animal general practice located in Morrisville, NC focusing on routine pet care, surgery and dentistry. Our hospital has a warm working environment and a high-end client base. We pride ourselves on excellent client communication and education. Dependability, work ethic and desire to grow are all equally important.

We are open to the public Mon- Fri 7:30am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm, serving the Morrisville and Cary NC area.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $15 - 16/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
