BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team!

A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of hospital patients and maintains cleanliness of the facility, equipment, and tools. The role may include assisting with basic patient care such as safe restraint during treatments.

As a Kennel Assistant, you will:

1. Observe patients for signs of health concerns and report findings to senior staff.
2. Clean and disinfect hospital areas to maintain high standards of care.
3. Prepare patient meals, clean cages and bedding, and maintain litter boxes.
4. Safely approach and restrain cooperative patients during treatments.
5. Provide routine care, including walking dogs.
6. Maintain hospital equipment and tools.
7. Report patient voids to senior Veterinary Assistant or Technician.
8. Manage laundry, ensuring clean supplies are stocked.
9. Regularly patrol the facility to ensure cleanliness.
