BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team!

A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of animals that are patients of the hospital and cleans the hospital facility, equipment, and tools. The role may include assistance with basic patient care such as the safe restraint of patients during treatment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Observing patients for signs of health concerns and reporting findings to senior staff.
2. Cleaning and disinfecting hospital areas regularly to maintain high standards of care.
3. Preparing patient meals, cleaning cages and bedding, and maintaining litter boxes.
4. Safely approaching and restraining cooperative patients during treatments.
5. Providing routine attention to patients, including walking dogs.
6. Cleaning and maintaining hospital equipment and tools.
7. Reporting patient voids to senior staff.
8. Managing laundry - removing soiled laundry and keeping clean laundry stocked.
9. Patrolling the facility to ensure cleanliness.
