Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Veterinary Associates in Grenada, Mississippi, seeks a Kennel Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians by cleaning, feeding, exercising, restraining, and handling pets. You will help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and ensure high-quality care for every patient.

The role requires animal-handling experience and candidates must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma preferred. Full-time with rotating shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have animal handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pets.
• Feed and exercise animals as directed by the Veterinarian or owner.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and sanitation of cages, runs, and related areas.
• Communicate health and care recommendations to clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
