Lake City Animal Hospital in Georgia is seeking a full-time Kennel Assistant to support patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The role covers back-of-house duties, caring for boarding animals, feeding and medication administration, kennel maintenance, and occasional client communication. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and able to work weekends, with strong teamwork spirits and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work in a wet environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for boarding animals and maintain feeding schedules.
• Provide prescribed medication to pets as directed.
• Maintain kennel area by cleaning and mopping.
• Bathing animals and ensuring high standards of care.
• Communicate with clients and assist with hospital duties.
